Re: Need a camera for the V-20
I've had a Canon S30 (3.2mp), great camera until I took a spill crossing a creek in CO, myself and the camera got soaked, I recovered, camera didn't. I replaced it with the newer S60 version (5.0mp), great camera too.
I suggest going to www.cnet.comand read some reviews and users opinions. I never buy any electronics without checking there first. CNET will also show you the cheapest place to buy. |

Here are a few links for weaterproff and water proof digital cameras, might be a consideration if it's a V20 camera

I don't know about your V20, but my V20 style hull hardly ships any water at all. That bow flare really knocks things down.

Re: Need a camera for the V-20
Dammm !!!, speaking of cameras. I was just outside again trying to declog my baitwell. Was about to cut the damm thing out and see whats the problem. So I took a few pictures to post first. Well...duh...I snapped off the pictures, came in to download and found out I forgot to insert the memory stick. Hmm wondering if I should even be allowed to own a boat. ;D
As far as the clog goes, its amazing how they make boats that you have no access to working on half the things. I think I did declog it. I ran a snake up the drain. I ran about 30 feet of it !!!. I was expecting the drain tube to be connected at the baitwell and the front cuddy drain like a sink would, but it appears that the hull of v-20's must be all open and the water is channeled down to the drain tube. Guess I'll find out for sure the next time it rains. ;D |
