Finished is 8 1/2 X 23 1/4 We started with 9 X 24 I belive. But I bolted 2 toghter to get the full thickness, Then after it was bolted toghter we trimed and routered to get the end result. But as you are using a full 1 1/2 to start you can start smaller and end were ever you want. |

Brains cells are slowy turning now as i sip on my cooffee now. ;D Now, do you ever worry about loosing the anchor while in motion ???? I notice the chain simply goes over a steel hook of some kind. Is that the only thing holding the anchor secure ?? Damm, if you start charging a buck a question, you have another motor by now. ;D |

Not lookin' at MJ's pic, but there's a "chain-tensioner" that clamps back and holds tension on the chain...it AIN'T comin' off ...he's probably usin' one of those ;) ...
