Hey Lumber, nice boat buddy. Mine's an 86. As CB said, I've recently converted mine from a sea drive to a bracket with a 96 Johnson 200HP...

Anyway, here's the documentation I was able to scrounge up. It's for an 85. What year is yours?

Re: anyone own 20 ft sportfish

Thanks. Mine wants to look as nice as yours when it grows up ;)

Before I answer your question, keep in mind that I have yet to even ride in a V20! However, with that caveat, I would say that you should stick with the 175. Personally, I would have preferred a 150. The only reason I went with the 200 was because the price was right. At the time, I couldn't find a 150 for the price I paid for the 200. A 175 will be more than adequate for your boat.

cool
i think it will move nice with 175 .
the 140 moves it about 35mph so little faster will be nice

150's are perfect.....but 50 extra ponies are always nice too. If I ever have to re power, it'll be a 200

Re: anyone own 20 ft sportfish

I had 175 on my cusddsy and hit 40 mph, so a 175 onm your dualy will be 40+ ;D
