Spare, I've got a good friend w/ a boat at Tollers Cove...get down as often as possible...love Charleston (my family's originally from there)... We've talked here before of molding one of these V-20s and goin' into limited production...most agreed it should be a full-transom w/a bracket to hold as much as 225 HP...stretched out to 22-23' LOA (not including bracket), cuddy model w/ CC to follow...80-100 gal gas capacity...useing the later model's self-bailing hull w/ as much flotation stuffed in it as reasonable...the seat-boxes you're lookin' for would be good option, insulated for cooling...30 gal bait-well built into the transom... we've kicked around stuff like that...some of the other guys will offer more suggestions...if ya get 'er goin' you'll get a lot of support from here!! ;) 8) ... |

Re: seat boxes
i been on the hunt too. cause of prices, i gonna have to try to build them myself. i was thinking of going with smaller boxes, like these; http://www.boatbox.com.au/images/fit...tout%20010.JPG
i dont realy need the livewell option. just wanna put fresh water washdown in one, and storage in other. but if we can combine our resources and come up with a more affordable option, i wont be that picky about what style. tx |

Re: seat boxes
come up with some measurements and ideas, like what kind of opening, lid, internal measurements, live well, fitting of a gas tank, etc... you guys get the idea. Let me know and I'll get to work on getting an estimate on building them. the glass shop is a low volume general job shop, should be right down their alley. I'll make the plug and *mold( thats usually the most expensive part), but in order for this to work, we'll needa box that will fit everyones needs. some pics of existing setups would be nice
