Re: Airslot.....
Eels are in stock now at SeaHawk Sport Center in Pocomoke. For the next few weeks you can still find a live spot I'd think and they would work great also. The big rock aren't really here yet.

Re: Airslot.....
Thanks Air. I'll give Mat a visit.
Can you keep them things alive in a bucket for a few days. Not really after a BIG rock just a bend in the rod |
Re: Airslot.....
Yep, keep em cool and damp, but not submerged in water and they'll live a good while. Don't leave em in a bucket in the garage, they like to go lookin around ;)

Re: Airslot.....
they dont like being submerged? arent they water animals?
Let them look around? Please explain. |
Re: Airslot.....
If you leave them in water, they'll use up the oxygen and drown. If you leave them under a wet towel they can breathe for a long time. If you leave them in a bucket, they WILL get out and go looking around your garage, boat, or where ever you have left them. Amazing little suckers ;)

Re: Airslot.....
Just curious, how do you guys fish eels down there?
If it is deep, say over 40 ft with current I like to 3 way them on a drift. other then that maybe a 1 ounce egg sinker if any and just keep feeding line to keep them on the bottom during the drift. |
Re: Airslot.....
Same way for me...

Re: Airslot.....
Air I went to Seahawk today around 10:30 and found he was closed. ???
How dare he take time off when people need him to be open. So what if he has a personal life and wants to fish also. ;D ;D Oh well I guess I will have to make another trip later today. Sign said back around 12 to 4 for muzzle loading help. ;) |
Re: Airslot.....
