Yes we all were beginners once and we've all had our moments. Biggest thing I always try to do especially at a new dock is to stop away from the dock and determine what the wind and current are doing to me. It always surprises me to see someone, when they have their choice of which dock to pull in to, trying to dock against the wind instead of letting the wind help them.
