Sea Tow covers whatever boat you (the member) are captaining.

The only other difference between the two in my area is that Tow Boat will travel further offshore to come get you. That also seems to vary by region.

After I read all the post on which one to use I think I'm going to stay with tow boat U.S I feel they are both very good and like destroyer said they will get you help even if they have you use a differant towing service , hopefully I never have to use them but it's great to know they are there . And that's exactly what they did for my son.
