Get a potato cannon...freeze hooked bait and weight on a rig w/ swivel stickin' out...attach line to swivel, open bail, direct fire toward open ocean and ...BOOM!! :o ... close bail and GET READY ;) ...

H@ll lets just frag them, pick um up in a scoop net ::)

I saw them at a fishing show Oz, guy wanted big bucks for the compressed air version all set up on a pull behind surf fishing rack, little air compressor and battery. Special containers you put bait in and freeze. They looked like rockets with hooks imbedded in them. Can get out a few hundred yards with them.
I dunno, seems a little weird to me, too strategic, does not have the feel to me.

H@ll lets just frag them, pick um up in a scoop net ::)

I saw them at a fishing show Oz, guy wanted big bucks for the compressed air version all set up on a pull behind surf fishing rack, little air compressor and battery. Special containers you put bait in and freeze. They looked like rockets with hooks imbedded in them. Can get out a few hundred yards with them.

I don't surf fish much and never have, you will see that at hammers party!

I have a 10 foot Diwa Rod and a Penn 650SS 17# test line with a 30# shock leader, just load her up and whip it!

Willy, the potato cannon is one of those crazy ideas I've had for a while ... I's just KIDDIN'!! ... had no idea they were ACTUALLY shootin' bait out across the water

One step forward to get my whole body working into the cast.
Nice fluid movement.

I've snapped some 50# test when the bail slips over.
Sounds like mother supperiors paddling.
