Here is an update

I got everything put back together and added new oil. The trim motor will run but the outboard will not move.

The hoses were off for a month or more so im sure air got into the system. I cant seem to get the air bled/hoses primed with fluid. Ill mess with it again today and if i cant figure it out im going to hire someone who can.

i figured adding some oil would take all of 5 minutes and ive spent countless hours on this dumb thing, I Should have just left it alone to begin with, im past the point of fed up.

Anyone have any suggestions before this thing drives me crazy?

Something about sleeping dogs, cans of worms, and nothing working on an old boat except it's owner.
