Unfortunately the bimini top I have is not factory. It's aftermarket. If yours is held in place with zippers I have my sister in law that sews everything and can adapt it to my top.... and if it's held in place with snaps I have the tools to do that myself. By all means please take a look and see if you still have it. THANK YOU!!!!! :news: |
I found the curtains down in the shop in a storage box.
The side curtains are usable but not perfect. They need a good cleaning. Here are a couple of pic. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d4...psvwzbqx1h.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d4...psc34y8cwn.jpg The front curtain has a small hole in the clear vinyl and probably should be replaced. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d4...psr3f9u960.jpg The front curtain doesn't have the split for the windshield opening. All the pieces are fastened to the bimini by zippers. You will need #10 Ykk zippers to attach them. The bottoms have the snaps which attach to the windshield. Those are the clip on snaps that slide around so that is an easy adjustment to make on your boat. I can ship them out to you on Monday if you want them. If you're sure the curtains will fit I can install new vinyl in the front for $80 or I can ship them to you as they are for free. |

Destroyer doesn't think the curtains will work for him.
Anyone else have a factory bimini that might have some use for these curtains? |

Package is on it's way! Should be there Monday!
Replaced the clear vinyl on the front/windshield panel. I found some scrap pieces under the work table. They're not perfect but usable. I had to split the windshsield into 3 pieces to make the scraps work. Used coil zippers in between the panels. Got to thinking.......Front windshield wouldn't do you any good if you couldn't see out of it.:head: The zippers to attach to the top are usable. They are #10 YKK zippers. Keep the clear vinyl clean with mild soap and a reggae mitt and plenty of water. Use 210 clear polish after they been washed and dried. It's a good idea to use 303 aerospace protectant a few times a year. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d4...ps5dlzpext.jpg |
