also market is a big factor, west coast has probably the highest resale, followed by northeast, then south. i know I/O's are big up north, but down here, can't give them away. most are considered a donor boat for a bracket conversion.
in the end, somethings worth what you can get for it. i'm constantly amazed at what people will pay for things, both over & under what i would pay. |
Theres a guy asking 11,500 for an 83 V with a 93 Merc on it here in ohio. It also has a 2010 kicker and a 2013 dual axle trailer but i still think he is asking atleast double of what he will get, i may be wrong though

As to I/O's, guess I'm in the minority as I actually like them. The nagain I can work on em, so that makes a big difference. |

Motor, trailer and enclosure are long gone.... A 93 merc is worth $0 unless it is already yours and it runs. |
Come on guys..........these V's are becoming like collectable cars.....
AC boat show had 20' priced at $ 65,000 + A solid, sound, dry hulled V in great condition with equally good motor.........man we should be talking $ 15,000 easy ! :) And my 96' V21, last year of the best selling boat of all time........should sell at Barret Jackson for $ 100,000 |
