my friend that builds tops runs into this all the time, he told me, theres a reason that top is for sale, no one removes a perfectly good top to replace it with out a reason. He also pointed out most tops have a life span of usefulness vs. cost of repairs. He said bay boats are the worse because they generally don't ride well adn the aren't built as sturdy as offshore boats, making a less stable platform for the top to attach to.

That price includes four rod holders and he is going to run a 1'' tube from the electronics box to the dash for wires .Really sucks but its my fault ,after all the years of running boats you would think I would know more about boat tops .Damn education is expensive. Shunk thanks for the reminder about the windshield. The good thing about it ,who doesn't like a brand new Top.
