Don't forget to try scream and fly for selling them. The 20" shaft 110 would probably move over there.

Thanks

As said, price is fine, season is wrong.

Unless you are in south Fla...then its always boat season.

Looks like I priced it right. A guy said he'll send me a check for the full amount, I just have to send him my name and address.
Does anyone even fall for that crap?

That's a two edged sword.

On one edge, if you send him your name and address, he has them and then can come and steal the engine. Or the check, if he does send one, can bounce. Stipulate to him that if he sends you a check, it must first clear both banks before you will release the engine.

On the other edge, he could be perfectly legit and will really send you a valid check or bank cashiers check.

Personally, I like to ask them why they cannot just come to my house, pay in cash and take the engine with them when they leave.

Another way around it is to offer to send the item to them COD. Use UPS or FedEx and stipulate to the carrier that the payment must be made in cash.

You have to decide, based on your conversations with him, how you want to handle it.

I was joking. The message I got was definitely a scam. I didn't bother responding. It was a text from an odd number that was worded funny. I won't give anyone my address without at least talking to them.
