It never fails to amaze me the differences between various doctors, hospitals, etc. When I went for my Ultrasound about 2 weeks ago the tech turned the screen so I could see it and explained what we were looking at as she did the various readings on my heart. And yet when I was in a different hospital after my motorcycle accident the tech was just like the one you had.... would not divulge any info, kept saying he wasn't a doctor and only a doctor could read the results kinda BS. You know, it';s always frosted my a$$ that we pay for the damn tests, yet they won't give us the results... only the doctors get to see them.... Hang in there my man... you'll be fine... just keep that BP low and take your meds. when you are supposed to.

Good to here the jumpstart worked Destroyer.Ferm I'm sure they'll figure out your BP problem. I had it for years was on three diffrent meds for it.Finally they did a sleep study on me and found I have severe sleep apnea. They put me on a c pap machine and my sleeping and BP has stayed at a normal rate with only 1 med a day. It's only been a couple of months now but are very optomistic.maybe if the kidneys are fine you could suggest a sleep study if they haven't done one yet.anyway good luck

they did one on me 13 years ago after my accident. the hospital said i was fine because my pressures were actually low while sleeping, and at rest i was fine. now its high all the time. hopefully i will hear something this week.

Man it sucks to hear, for both of you. Hoping for the best.

Glad you are OK Destroyerman. I saw the headline and got worried.

Since I sold my boat I haven't been checking in too often, kind of sad.

I hope everyone's doing OK, esp MJ and Ferm.

I sold the boat because of my back getting worse and it has been getting pretty bad. After some MRI's it looks to be a single disc that is causing me trouble. I am going in for surgery in a couple weeks to get it fixed. Looking forward to getting back to somewhat normal...
