I have had both a 250 v8 Johnson and a 235 evinrude ( Two of OMC worst for MPG). Even though the V8 ran dual vro's/ fuel pumps, the 235 drank more fuel a WOT than the V8 did. Believe me that's saying something! But the sound that V8 makes at WOT is awesome

They didn't call it the two thristy five for nothin. I imagine a 300 would probably keep up with it though. The 250 got the small carbs, and smaller porting than the 300 got. But the sound alone is worth it.

i took pics today. what is best way to post never had problem posting in the past. redused pic size to 15% in microsoft paint and saved the uploaded perfect
