The guy emailed me back on the boat and drive, he says that his is not the one that the engine moves, his is gear driven and electric powered and has been very reliable. only the drive moves. Does that make sense to you Skools. Also he says the parts are readily availble

hum i'll look at them in my book see what all they are like. i have never heard anything good at all about OMC drives

Gotcha I just like the set up on that boat, the size etc. but the outdrive hole in the transom does look like it is bigger than others I have seen. I wonder if that would make it a difficult bracket candidate

back in those years they didn't brace the transom's up for outboard weight much less twins like it would take. look for a Sea Drive version. That's what the one i bought was. that way you also don't have any motor well. The Sea Drive ones had stronger 3 inch transom's

Move on down Willy i've got two 25's one Sea Ray Fishing Cruiser and one Wellcraft Coastal. Same boat one I/O one twin outboards lol. then you can use one of mine. ;D

lol well the shop is 40' x 60' the tractor barn is 30' x 50' and the garage is 40' x 50' but the house is 3500 sq ft. lol
