Nice Boat! They are really tough boats, I see alot of them around the Outer Banks. Good luck with the new boat.

So far we've got about 10 hours running time and one fishing trip on her. I've been fortunate to put in alot of hours on two friends cats over the past five years, so we knew exactly what we were getting into.
Our first fishing trip was for Tog at a nearshore wreck. We were all pumped for the maiden voyage, but a little concerned as the forecast suxed, SCA and 4-5 for three days. With the winds being out of the west we thought there was a chance that it'd be fishable if we stayed within five miles of the beach, and we were right. Nice 3-4, not to tight, and a comfortable ride at 23-ish kts. All of our other trips have been sandbar and / or dinner runs in 20-25mph snot. The boat rides like a dream in the bay in those conditions. The enclosure is warm and dry. The is just big enough for me to stretch out in, even at 6'4". Ole Willy gave me a few pointers for breaking in the cabin... We've been very blessed in many ways over the years. I got royally screwed last January at work. Turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me :news: As with any new-used boat, I've got a pile of projects to get her where I want her. The good news is she's fish ready now. Elaine is already asking "where are we fishing next weekend" 'Slot |
Congrats on your new ride!
