In all seriousness Ferm, good luck with that. I hope they're able to fix that and relieve your pain. I can somewhat relate with my knee pains that I've been living with for the last several years. After having one replacement done which still isn't right and now they what to re-do that one plus the other knee, I'm apprehensive to say the least. But either way I'm in pain every day and it really sucks.
So I feel for you and hope that you find relief.

I know the feeling about being apprehensive about surgery. They did 3 reconstructions on my right shoulder, and everytime it was the same except I lost more length off my humorous(my right arm is 2 1/4" shorter than my left now). They wanted to try an experimental procedure on it to fix it again, and I finally said enough. I have partial useage of it and can manage the pain from it, and decided to leave well enough alone. The hip on the other hand is a little different because it makes it so I can't walk.

Got my blue(permanent) handicap tag today, so I guess I can officially call myself a gimp. Got my appointment for the 27th to go and see the Dr that did my hip the first time, figure it was a good idea to go back to the person that did the first overhaul on me.

My wifes the excited one for the tag. I didn't always use it the last time I had one, but when I'm having one of those days it will be nice to not have to walk a 1/2 mile across a parking lot while carrying a baby and all of his stuff.

Just got back from the Doc who did my hip the first go round, and he doesn't think the first diagnosis was correct. He ordered 2 MRI's as he said he doesn't want to guess what is inside before he passes judgement on it. He did say he thinks it is not just my hip this go round. He thinks I have torn some cartilage in my knee, and I may also have some pelvis problems due to my groin being on fire.

So happy happy joy joy, looks like I'm in for another long round of fun with it yet again.

Hate to hear this, it is time for some good news for a change. Hoping the MRI can get a better view of the issue so they can get you all fixed up. Hurting from prior injury just sucks. I do like the way this doc thinks, remove ALL the guesswork, do it right..

Hang in there, maybe it won't be as long as it has already been..

The best doctors always critique their own work and diagnosis first. The worst doctors act they got it all figured out from the get go

X2! I don't trust them at the best of the times. Most just want to give you pills and send you on your way.

Good luck and take care!!
