those must be the ones i see in the fish markets called Sea scallops or diver scallops. they are much bigger than bay scallops. rkc is right, would be a sin to fry those, great on the grill though.

i am jealous of your cheaper lobster prices. around here your looking at $20 a pound at walmart.
i guess every neighborhood has it's advantages..

Some of the local supermarkets had new shell lobsters last week for $3.99/lb

I love what we call the milk, I love the juice!!!!!!!!I use to get them all the time when friend pete had his clam farm!!

Say's you!!!!! Believe it or not, we like our sweet tea too. Believe it or not, we're not all city folk up here guys. I just got home from my son-in-law's yearly sweetwater fishing derby. Afterwards it was a 1/2 keg of ice cold beer (sweet tea too), ribs, pulled pork and a whole mess of pan fried fish, slaw, tater salad. Wooooo son! I need a nap right now.

My son-in-law brews it. He and a couple of the guys that fished the tournament are on a local BBQ competition team. They brew the tea to go with their offerings at the competitions and of course special events like last weekend.
