i went and got some corn just to try this, the first time i did not cut high enough, then tonight i cut a bit higher and it worked well!! wish i knew earlier in the season! fresh corn starting to disappear :cry:

we had ribs last night, and what goes better with ribs than fresh corn. i told my wife i had a new way to cook it. it worked flawlessly. i have cooked it in the microwave before, but then shucked it the old fashion way. the "reel" way is so much better, thanks..

I don't care what method you use, if you cook it in the shuck it is better. :nice:
