 I'm not at all sure that that is an '84 as the add says. Shape of the cap looks older, definitely different than my '84. Maybe the 20" transom models had a different cap? Check the serial for the model yr.... |

 Hello guys. Sorry to be MIA after asking for advice. Thank you for all of your input. I decided not to buy that V20 hull after researching the soft deck issues, solutions, and mods.  That size project would consume me, and I'd like to have a project I can start and finish over the winter months. Thought the project in question might last a year.  I saw my first V20 on the water down at Topsail Beach, NC this weekend. The boat lines look really great on plane. I'm still keeping watch for V20s that come available. I'm heading to Ft. Myers, Fl. this weekend so I'm keeping an eye on Craigslist down ther eas well. |
