I found out that here in NJ they have the same kind of tax. Never knew it till I was talking about it today with a local shop keeper. He told me they pay $350 a MONTH!!! It seems that in New Jersey after they require you to put in the system, they tax you on it, so much per sprinkler head. Their reasoning is that you are saving money on your insurance, plus you pay for the demand your system makes on the town water system should you ever have a fire. However, if you have a fire and the water is not there to save your building, you have no recourse against the town. Cute huh? Greedy bastards. :cen:
