Re: recommendations on 1st boat
Hey Newatthis...check it out. If you don't learn a single thing about boating from this post, just remember this one little thing. It might save your life one day!
DON'T FORGET THE PLUG! Its a rookie mistake...ask anybody who owns a boat if they've ever done it. The answer is YES. I've done it more than I want to admit. Anytime you back a boat in the water, ask yourself - "did I take the straps off? And is the plug in?" That's about the best advice I can give you. Other than that, find a boat that doesn't leak. |
Re: recommendations on 1st boat
Really, it is a bit%$#@ when you're in the water
and then remember the plug. reaching around the motor and feeling for the hole and hoping you don't let the plug slip through your fingers. Nope, never forget the plug again. ANyway welcome, MSBHAMMER and I go out of Lewes, just across the bay. V20 is one of the best bay boats ever made, I was out in 3 -4 foot swells, never got a drop of water on me. ;D |
