When I think of country music I think of the old classics where the guy lost everything in the song and it just had that depressed feeling to it. Maybe this was a southern thing though, who knows?

Here's one of my new favorites that certainly isn't depressing.

Thats my man Toby.
There were two concerts that I took all my kids to to concert down with their Dad.
Allman Brothers, the best rock band in history, and Toby Kieth at the PNC Art Center, one of the best.
All four of my kids are diehard fans of both. If nothing else I did right by them in life!

Red Solo Cup, LMAO:clap:

It's funny...that's exactly the reason I was turned off by country music for such a long time... Your Cheating Heart with the twang of the guitar and the fiddle was more than I could take. It wasn't till I was lots older and was dating a young lady from NC that I began to take notice of how much the music had evolved over the years. Not going to bore anyone with my favorites vs their favorites... everyone has their own opinions.. just stating for the record that modern country music has a place on my cars radio dial now.

Here's one that jumped outta the past for me from a surprising source...don't remember it from when it was originally released, it grabbed me one day years ago and never let go...some music videos are best to drink in w/eyes closed..this is one of those..video sux...music is timeless...listen to the steel in this..awesome
