Thanks fishnfecth, I definitely was going deep enough as I did catch some starfish :). I prefer fishing rather than trolling, so I will probably go somewhere else next time. I also like going out of fairhaven and going across to the islands\quicks. Last year I had fished a spot between the islands by quicks hole which I was told was "hot" for stripers. Definitely a lot of current.

Quicks is good, this time of year Robinsons chum/chunk bite is very good. Im heading out of westport in the morning, ill let you know what i find
