A 4-stroke Suzuki 140 would work good on that CC...it won't have the giddy-up the present motor has, but will be smooth, economical and reliable...several of the guys here have them and like 'em...

If you're still running teh VRO oil injection and getting alot of smoke, then you either have a bad VRO pump or an air leak in teh fuel line before the fuel pump. An air leak before the fuel pump will cause it to pump air with the fuel, and the fuel pump pumps in a metered amount of fuel for each stroke of teh fuel pump. If it is pumping air instead of fuel, then it will be pumping extra oil since there is no fuel to mix with it. Also when the fuel pump pumps air it will go from 100:1 which is the idle setting to the 50:1 which is the mid and upper setting. The fuel pump makes the change over based on how fast it pumps, and when it is pumping air it will go faster and pump EXTRA oil. Get the bugs worked out and chances are you'll have a good engine.

Ya what Ferm said. Compression test that motor and if it checks out work with it. The smoking can be toned down with the right oil. Those motors are now being sought after round here, the word is out. They were reliable and well built, only weak link is the optical ignition and that isn't all that bad. Tell your passengers the smoke is to keep the bugs away and run it like you stole it.
