i caught one in jones beach inlet a million years ago.
didnt know they were protected so we brought it home and threw it on the grill. one of the best tasting fish i ever ate. |

Still in the transfer process. It should be complete for July 1st when the areas open up again. I had to put it on my other boat :) cause of some title issue w/DMV. The red boat was built in 1972 and has a 4 digit HIN number. DMV can't process a 4 digit HIN even thought I gave them a good title, 10 years of CA registrations, and a receipt for every dollar spent on the boat for the last 10 years. Major PIA . . . Luckily I have another boat (black Seacraft CC) . . . so now I'll have both boats registered as commercial, but the salmon permit is going to be on the center console :-/ which sucks.

Careful fishin/boatin' in Sturgeon populated waters...yesterday I heard about a woman hospitalized after bein' CRUSHED by a 200+ lber that jumped into her boat :o ...
