Oh, by the way...for those that do not know, there are 7 sausages in a regular sized can of Armor Vienna Sausages. (one in the center and 6 spaced equally around it). :hide: (But you guys all knew that already anyways, didn't you?)

I usually buy them by the case (24) from Costco. Keep several in the boat at all times, along with Saltene Crackers and water. No refrigeration needed, they are a great snack, and in a pinch they actually make a good bait for fishing.

How the hell can you eat those things? My grandson used to eat them all the time so we bought them by the case. Then one day he got tired of them and here I am stuck with a case because he won't eat them anymore. I tried them and almost lost my lunch. They're disgusting!!!!!!!!

LOL CB. I guess they are like a good single malt Scotch Whisky... it's an acquired taste.

I know several people that won't eat them, my wife included. Yet she will happly eat a container of yogurt, which to me, tastes just like sour milk. Oh wait!!!..... it IS sour milk.

My point is they (Vienna Sausages) are not for everyone, just like cavier, yogurt, scotch, spam, eggplant, etc is not for everyone. Oh, and hold on to those cans for your grandson. Once you eat these things and like them, you'll come back to them again and again. Give him time. (Or take them with you next time you go fishing. They really do make a good bait)

I'm with ya on the Scotch Whiskey.

And you're probably right about using the snausages for bait. I'd bet catfish love them. To me they taste like azz. :booty:
