step up here 10-08-2010 09:29 PM

my son has a rumble bee for the last five years had no trouble at all. he never let me drive it so i can not tell you anymore. but i dont think you can pull too many of those double decker train cars with it!

hey man....all these guys can have their ford and chevy trucks. I had the Hemi Ram for a little over a year. Had to sell it, but I will answer any questions I can. Great Truck! Tons of power and torque! I miss that truck

I do own a ford explorer, and I love it, but when it comes to a truck...I'm a Dodge man.

hey cy, i was kind of concerned with the longevity of the hemi because in my price range i'll most likely be looking at trucks with around 100k on them. maybe a bit less but these things are actually pretty hard to find. i would love to find another base model as all that leather and power crap is for f@g$.
tell me what you liked about it.
tell me what you didnt.

and let me add that although i think all the big three are hot, i have to say the dodge is pretty sick looking.

honestly there was nothing I didn't like about it. Mine had the big center console so it only sat 5 people, but i loved that console. You could put anything in there. it always had plenty of power, whether pulling the V or hauling a ton and a half of sand. gas mileage was great in my opinion...it got 15 city and 19-21 highway. Mine had the motor that shut 4 cylinders off when they were not needed. It really helped on the fuel mileage. I put the hard folding toneau cover on it, so the bed became a huge trunk.

I had the cloth seats which were great....I am not a big fan of leather either.

All in all, I loved that truck and it never let me down. I bought it brand new and it had 32K miles on it when I traded it in. Hated doing it but I took a pay cut at work due to the economy and just couldn't afford that big payment anymore. Wish I still had it

all good to hear. i wish i could afford a brand new one but thats the way it goes. as i mentioned earlier i have two boat ramps within 3 or so miles from my house, one right down the block. when i drive to the train station i put less than two miles a week on my car, so i'm not really too concerned with mileage. i've never one with a console but then again i cant find too many of these things altogether.
the search goes on and i'll keep you all posted as to how goes the search.

NOTHING ELSE MATTERS 10-09-2010 11:26 PM
