If you wanted or preferred it ti be a level wind then which reel would you guys say?
I have tried to get away from the finger dance while cranking as much as I could, especially with the braids and wet hands. Plus I just dont like it.

I am using Shimano Calcutta for my Fluking and a few others all level winds and love them!
But on my big reels I am still using non level winds as they really not going to take the abuse with out breaking down;
I use Penn 113H like CB for Cod and Sharking they are work horses! I have a Fish Winch Electric attachment for deep water fishing.
With my Diabetes my hands suck! I no longer can use non level winds so I have been making the change over for a while now.

Good Luck

I know everyone has their favorites... if it was me and I wanted to use a level wind reel then the Daiwa 47H would be one of the top contenders on my list. Strong enough for the biggest bluefish or striper. I've taken several football tuna on them without a problem. I still prefer the 50H non-level wind, but the 47H is a reely great reel to consider. :love:
