How did you rigged the herring?

Nowadays live scup/porgies are producing bass around here, we rig'em on a three way swivel, 2 foot dropper for the sinker and a 4+ foot leader with a 7/0 circle hook plus a 5/0 octopus has a stinger ;)

We call it free-lining...single hook on the end of the line, herring hooked thru the nostrils (minimal damage) and put it out behind the boat as Electric trollin' motor moves SLOW ... plus down-lines same as above, but w/swivel and 1.5 oz. lead 5' above hook ... w/side-planers on two outside free-lines, we'll pull as many as 8 lines around like that; 4 free-lines and 4 down-lines ... it'll get 'em ;) ;D ...

Nothing better then fishing with live bait 8)
Specially on top, seeing a bass toy with the herring/bunker with a few tail slaps and nuges then grabbing on and peeling of line ;D ;D
