Tether the stern to a solid anchor point. Pull the trailer out with your tow vehicle about two foot. Block the stern up and pull the trailer out about 3/4 of the way. Now jack it off the trailer and block it and pull your trailer on out.

a hammer drill and a tapcon can make for a solid anchor point in concrete in short order

Its not too bad. I did it about like bksah2. Blocked up the keel and the chines on the stern and the keel about middle way down the hull and pulled the trailer out by hand.

Go back to my thread when I replaced my inbd. I have truss's and what I did was put a 2x4 on either side of the bottom (horizontial) part of the truss and then put a vertical brace on either side of the boat from the floor to the bottom of the truss, lifted my 350 out with no trouble and I bet it would have lifted the boat eng and all.
Do a search under me or "repowering" I have pics of the whole thing and some close up of my bracing.

That's exactly how I do it. Done it several times that way... works like a charm. (Although, now that I have a 2 1/2 bay garage, I'm liking Skools method of hanging it a lot).

I like Skools idea too. But my garage is lucky to support itself, much less a V20. I am kicking myself for not replacing my rotted 4x4 roof supports and poles with a 3-layered 2x12 beam. When I roll the V out to flip it upright again I might upgrade my roof supports.
