Thanks RW. Ferm, nice video. With the kind of power that Duramax puts out I figure you would be able to really roast those tires. I sat and held my truck in one spot for at least ten seconds before I let her go. It left a pile of shredded rubber on the pavement. I wish I had timed this tire change better. I would of signed up for a burn out contest at one of those import car shows or something. They have one every year when I go to waterfest. Its pretty funny.

Phat I am blonde, therefore it is sometimes necessary to spell it out 100%. I thought... and that was my first mistake.:oh:

I would like to know where Ferm got the deal on the Michelins. That is the exact tire I need for my D-max PU. Was this a brother-in-law deal or is my local dealer just killing me with his mark-up?

I just tires on my 98 F-150 for the 1st time, It had 162,000 on those tires (same ones that came on it when I bought it brand new) The spare is still under the truck never hit the ground.

You fellows in warmer climes can get away with well worn tires for a long time.
Up here and the places I go hunting you need good tread life obviously but you risk a lot if you keep a well worn tire on.

willy, i had a bud from colorado and he said the same thing about the condition of repair or disrepair of the vehicles in the south. down here, if it breaks down you wait or walk for help, up there they find you in the spring thaw..

Regular walk-in price from GRIMES TIRE in Dade City. You have to give him a day or two's notice to get em in, but he's about as cheap as any on em.
