This may be a stupid question but the only stupid question is the only question not asked:

If you pour a new transom would you be able to put a 250 on the back? Why would you, just asking.

Duct tape :nice:oughta get you through the season.

Just bustin', lots of good advice on here for transom repair.

Your next step is critical be sure to cut the outside skin leaving enough on to make a strong and sturdy bond during the re-build see photo . Be sure to spend extra time observing up and around the spalsh well and belge area for stress cracks from the impact if any.
Notice how thin the inside skin was after I remove the rotten wood? I re-enforce using resin and mat before the pour ..

boat has no name, but the inside has all original cushions and rear removable bench seat that are all in good shape.
