just a question, is there any difference in the interior of the 21 vs the 20 the only difference i see is the set back of the motor, and the splashwell looks bigger?

Phat, I think that's the only difference...did any of the 20s have the curved side windows like the 21s??...

Nope, there is one other huge difference, and it has good and bad points.

The biggest difference, to me, is the deck (floor) height. They raised it a couple inches on the 21's and the scuppers will never take water coming back through....the downside is that the gunnels hit me just below the knee on the V-21. On my 87 the gunnels are just above my knee. When I wanted a 21' REEL bad is when I noticed this. Thinking of how I fish alone alot, and in the ocean, I could just envision myself going overboard a tad easier because of that factor.

Another difference I've noticed is I haven't seen any storage space under the deck. I'm wondering if the fuel tank takes all the usable space ??? Also, there are only those small access panels around the fuel tank, not a cover. So if a fuel tank replacement is required you'll have to cut out the deck. My dad's '96 Wellcraft Excel is the same way.

I'm still considering trying to get this V, but I'm trying to figure out a way to get a non-biased look at the boat without driving 10 hours myself. My luck with V's hasn't been the greatest so I'm a little hesitant of driving that kind of distance simply hoping for the best.
