Yup, the sea bass were by catch on the Fluke drifts. We do target them specifcly with about the same technice. We will start off drifting over structure and use a basic high/low rig with 4/0 Gamy hooks dressed with a skirt. The sea bass are usually close in on the sides of reefs and rocks, if we get a hot bight, we will anchor up right on them. I'm looking to do a sea bass mission soon, I will let you know how it turns out ;D Shawsee, the clocks a tickin ;D ;) |

Commercial season has closed here now, th fastest I have ever seen!! 35 days! And now I have learned that they close recerational on Aug 15th!! Who the heck would tell rec they can't fish in the middle of Aug?? This is the most stupid thing I have ever heard of!! Well I have to fluke for the freezer fast as I thought I had morem time! Al I did was sell and now have nothing. |
