I always like to brag on my motor when the subject comes up.....

Top speed of 40 mph and get 5 mpg!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2004 150hp yamaha 2 stroke and it will top out 45-46 mph depending on the load .
My friend has a 225 optimax on his v-20 and he tops out around 50 mph . We burn about the same fuel at cruse , but his rides much lower in the stern due to the added weight .
I would be willing to give up a little hp for signficant weight savings .

sitck with a mid sixe v-6 dont put the big boy on there unless 4mph is your ultimate goal.

Dang Lumber the bottom paint is faded and chipped, the teak is all grayed out, and there is some dust on the windshields.
All right what did you do with Lumbers boat and who the heck are you?
