That's what I was originally thinking, this would be perfect for that except its not nearly wide enough. Actually - 2 of them would fit perfectly side x side. If I only had $400 to blow on seats.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190273267570&sspagenam e=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&viewitem= |
MJ, mine are aluminum, but the average payload per chair may be a little lighter on my boat as compared to yours.

I have been watching for something like those for years. What is the width of the splashwell? I can't remember and my V is 200 miles away. |
I was thinking SS would be stronger?? I like having them when we go island hoping and we are not fishing

Yes, SS would be stronger, but the one chair I had that got bent was easlily fixed with new bolts, the bolts holding the chair together were what bent, not the actual chair. |

Thats good enough, I just have to put on my thinking cap to see if it will work out. |
oops... guess I used the rubber ruler. Actual outside to outside is 42 1/2". Inside is 36". The more I think about it that seat could actually work. It would sit in between the storage boxes on the sides, As the splash well sticks out just less than 12" I think the back would recess into the well and finish about 2" or so behind the storage boxes. Would need to install a support across the well to catch the back of the seat. Might be a little loud back there and maybe wet!. just rambling
