That one there would be a good candidate as well, but them 25 BERT's are WIDE.

the 25's arn't that wide, the 26 is the wide one. The 26 is the ideal hull, but you have to go with twins. Cummins has got a test boat hee with a pair of 150 hp diesels in it with Merc outdrives, its one sweet package

The 25's have that belly to them, and are measured 10'2" at there widest acording to the guys over at 25BERTRAM. The 26 is wide all the way down it coming in right around 10' for most of the hull. I've seen that video of the CUMMINS 26 MOPPIE test mule:love:, THAT THING IS SWEET!

they actually built two of them, one with 115 hp dieasels, and one with 150 hp diesels. Yanmar has a 20 with a single diesel they are using right now

I seen some video before of the one with the 150 CUMMINS common rail engines in it. It posted some pretty impressive numbers for speed and economy. Plus in the video you could tell that everybody on the boat was still able to carry on a conversation.

And here's one of the videos I found that really sold me on the 233, I espescially like 1:38 where he goes across the wake and the boat just goes through it. Not to bad for a twin outboard conversion.

I worked at the fort during the mid 80's on the ranger housing remodel contract. they actually paid me to stay there for about 8 weeks. i'd a done it for free...............

And the temptation just don't stop. I emailed this guy to see what kind of hull work it needs and he ewmailed back and said to call him he has a special price for me.

And then I see this one in need of re-power. I have always had a thing for the ALLMAND pocket sportfish.

TOO LATE!! I'm just WAY to broke right now. If I had the money thatwas owed to me by a couple people, I could go buy me a NICE offshore boat. It looks like my HYDRA-SPORTS will have to do for now. This weather has been a real PITA!! It's been just WAY too rough to head out in a 20 footer.
