Okay everybody, as to not OFFEND anyone, I copied this from the White House website, so don't go thinking I came up with this all on my own.....okay?
Bush has cut taxes for EVERYONE, including the "poor." President Bush's 2001 and 2003 tax relief fueled economic growth and reduced the marginal rate for every income tax bracket. By the end of last year, Americans would have paid an additional $1.3 trillion in taxes had it not been for the President's tax relief. If the President's tax relief is allowed to expire at the end of 2010, Americans will pay about $280 billion more in taxes each year. With the largest tax increase in history looming, Congress should make the President's tax relief permanent. Don't forget Obama is going to repeal these tax breaks and add new ones right after that. So $280 billion plus what Obama wants. And don't forget, that taxable income is gross income, not net income. Hell my wife and I almost fall into that bracket, and we are SOOOOOOOOO NOT rich!! |
I never knew we had so many V20ers earning 200Gs or better. Thought they'd move up to someting better but then again if you're already at the top why move. That lady must be one of us morans who voted for him.
WE will get change and not four more years of Bush. I'm glad it's over! Give him a chance. Billy Mac  |
