We're already into those times willy. I feel very bad for my grandson for what this country has already become.

You and I have much to agree on...of that there is no doubt...we have no crystal ball to tell us for sure what will happen if this person or that person gets elected...but what is beyond dispute is what we've been doing isn't working and I find I must support that which is least like what we have now...it is not an easy choice as there is a lot of "baggage"...but for the conservative side to promise reform and change after being a part of the problem for so long is one I'm unwilling to buy into...

What this country has become...as opposed to what it could have been had the politicians we elect to conduct government business on our behalf is exactly what drives me so crazy...toss out the politics, the pork, the lobbyists and get down to making sound monetary and practical decisions with our money and our futures is all I'm interested in...

My biggest hope for my children's and your grandson's future is that they are smarter than us to the point they succeed in eliminating the BS from our government and bring this country back to a direction that realizes the full potential of this nation and a truly free people...

I'm even doing something i never did, i'm driving old people to the elections dept. So they can vote in advance because they do not trust the us mail service with the absentee ballots.

I understand Oz and chum, but the main point I am making is if this individual is put into office we will have turned over the absolute control of the direction of this country to a extremely left wing group of people with and extremely left wing agenda and have proven that fact again and again.
This is not about moderates and conservatives doing a check and balance shuffle this is an outright cabal with an agenda that goes far beyond removing troops and general antiwar sentiment. This goes far beyond a medical insurance plan using free market. This is a desire to change the fundamentals of this country into a european type socialist state, and make no mistake that is exactly what these people want.
