Approximately what year is the hull? Can you tell from looking?

1988 was the first year for the 25 footer.

I am sure they are plenty heavy, These boats are solid!! 4K for the hull then adding fuel, motors, hard top, and gear you are close to 7K in the water.

I have heard that the older ones like mine were much heavier then the later models made by May Craft??

That boat also has a bit sharper entry then mine and 18* dead rise, I have a 20* dead rise on the 23, not sure on my entry.

we put my Wellcraft 250 on the scale with an aluminum trailer and the twin 225's on a bracket. no fuel, water, nor black water. it weighed in at 8900 lbs. but the Sea Ray 250 with the 310 hp I/O and steel trailer weighed in at 7200 lbs

that boat is stored at the IOP Marina, not one of the cheaper places to keep a boat, he's probably getting eat up with storage on it
