Same as Destroyer said, hate to hear it, I can't imagine dealing with all that.

Hang in there the best you can.

I'll give this one an update. As of today I have to be at the hospital Monday morning at 6:30 for surgery on my left shoulder. The 1st ortho I seen went off of the mri report because he couldn't get the disc from the radiologist to open and play. So he tried injections and such, but needless to say it continued to get worse. He said the only thing left was to scope it and see what was going on. Told him it was so close to the end of school, I needed to wait a few weeks for my wife to finish school so she could watch the kids(she's a teacher). Called back once my wife was done, and he was on vacation. So I decided to get a 2nd opinion.

2nd doctor looks at it(they used there software, just extracted the actual images off the disc because it wouldn't open for them either), says the radiologist misread the mri, and instead of having a large cyst(I still have alot of cysts in the muscle and joint), it was actually a large rotator cuff tear. So I've been dealing with this for months because somebody misread my mri. So dr #2 is going into my shoulder this monday. Decided to go with him as he is regarded as THE shoulder expert in this area, if not one of the best there is anywhere.

As to my back, the spinal place I went to said I have numerous herniations, but none are to the point they can do anything. I have multiple annular tears, but again, none are to the point of being repaireable. They basically said it's normal wear, just accelerated for my age, said it looks more like the back of a 50-60 year old. I plan on getting a 2nd opinion on my back as well just to make sure, but the only thi,g they could say was causing my severe back pain was how I walk because of how bad my hip has gotten(basically said I should seriously consider an artificial hip so they can correct my leg length, and get it toed back in correctly as my foot is twisted out on my left side).

So alot of stuff is wrong with me, but the only sure fire thing they can say is I simply wore myself out. Guess I'm paying the price for all those years they told me to take it easy, otherwise I would regret it later.

Glad to hear that at least the shoulder is getting taken care of. The back sounds like it's all related to the hip, so that would be the next target in my book. Good chance that a lot of the back pains etc will heal themselves once the hip and leg are working in the way they are meant to. Hang in there Ferm. Prayers as usual are headed your way.

Hopefully they can start by getting your shoulder straightened out. Then move on to your other ailments.

Sounds like the second opinion was a good idea,,I hope Monday Goes well Ferm !!

Wow. I had no idea. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Good luck on Monday and may God bless you and your family with positive results and clarity on your other ailments.

Guess its like anything, they can't fix it unless they know what's broke. I know what its like to have the back of a 60 year old,so I empathize with you.

Good luck, do what the docs tell you to do, try not to get hooked on netlix.

I'm not a huge netflix fan since I built my media Pi + box. I use Kodi to access Exodus and a few other torrent sites, and watch pretty much ANYTHING I can think of. Unfortunately with a 2 and 4 year old, that ends up being cartoons mostly.
