It's a cool method... and it works well. Sand has one of the highest compacting % of all materials. Post some pictures when you have a chance. I would like to see it done.

hey billymac, I just have to finish up the roof and build some overhangs and the exterior will be complete I will take some pics tomorrow

parish they are holding the tops of my pump jacks when I take them down I will go back up on the roof and patch those spots in

Lumber, never seen a pump jack stand like that, the way you have it secured to the roof.

Hammer I dont usually fasten them like this but there are to many overhangs and my bracket were to short,
build false overhangs today will post them ;D
