I don't know yet if between removing the VRO system, installing the electric fuel pump, and whatever else they did to the boat what the reasoning was for the pressure gauge. The only thing I can figure is they must have overidden the warning horn problems with the oil injection by removing or disconnecting it thus the overheat warning portion would also be defeated. So what they did was intercept the peehole and run the tube to the console with the pressure gauge. I thought it was ingenius but I prefer the horn (even over a temp gauge).
Having a pressure gauge and overheat warning horn would be nice. |

Trying to get the area's most critical to bolting motor,controls,steering and gauges cleaned up and remove old paint to be able to progress a little farther.

Found this to be less abrasive on the gel coat but it only takes one layer of paint off at the time.

Stains like this and the gray colored Marine Tex to fill holes is the only rational reason I can find why they painted the upper deck only.
