I just purchased this boat, its a 1990 with a 1990 200 H.P. johnson on it. Could anybody tell me of any quirks or abnormalites I should know about this boat? Thanks

They are great boats! Have some weak spots just like any boat, but over all are great riding, all purpose boats that you will grow to love. It's the owners of these boats that have the quirks AND abnormalites! Welcome to the site. (Don't ever say you were not warned.)

Welcome aboard Shubey.
The only items that keep popping up are make sure your transom does not have any leaks and
keep an eye on the floor for leaks.
by the way OB, I resemble that remark.

I have had mine since new, 1989, it attracts and requires a lot of beer and cigars to operate correctly. Unfortunately it was the year they seemed to have put some kind of fish repellant on the bottom because I can't seem to catch any.
Good luck you will love it!

I just purchased this boat . . . Could anybody tell me of any quirks or abnormalites I should know about this boat?
It's a little late to ask now!
Welcome aboard, shubey. I've had mine for about 18 years now, and I'm not parting with it anytime soon. Like any older boat, watch for signs of deterioration of the transom, and give it the "sniff test" when you refuel. Other than that, get out on the water and get to know her, and whatever you do . . .
post up some pics!
