before you even get started, I have pics, but I have to up load them on my computer at work, so you'll have to wait till Monday for pics. I couldn't pass up the deal I just got on a 14 McKee. Has a blown 55 johnrude, allready found a 70 for it. my plan is to duraback the inside(thinking light gray with the blue sprinkles), fix the two bad places in the glass, mount the 70, find a trolling motor for it, then procede to splatter the inside with fish blood. Its missing a couple of items and I would like to add a few. If any of ya'll run accross a basket case Mckee, I'm looking for a fwd hatch cover, a factory bench seat, side and bow rails. I can get these parts new(can you belive they still use the same mold for this boat) but i figured I'd ask to see if anyone has this stuff laying around

Ferm you are looking like Hammers old back yard, boat looks like a nice little bay type boat.
I got an idea for you, mount that fan on the back, convert it to DC current and you are set.

Welcome to the McKee Craft fold!! Question - what is wrong with the bench seat that is currently in the boat? I need one of those for my dad's 14' Mckee CC. Would like to put a smallish flip flop cooler seat behind the helm and a factory bench seat in the rear. I love those little boats. Its going to be nice when you get done with it.

Here's my dad's. Its practically mine b/c I use it 10x more than him LOL.

That be SPARES backyard, mine has ALOT more boats and stuff than that. Mine is probably more like SKOOLS back yard.

my back yard would have more stuff if I had the room, I had to move the V back to the community storage lot to give me room to work on everyones boat. The glastron is in primer, waiting for the final blocking and priming. The searayder is giving me a fit, got no fire but everything checkes out. My 72 Chevy is under the white tarp

I'm going to use two of those bench seats, one in front of the console, adn one behind, figured it would be the easiest way to have seating for 4, and allow ample storage rooom, if one gets in th eway, its only held in place by 6 screws

Let me know if you come across an extra bench in the process. I thought about fabbing one out of 3/4 " starboard with some starboard "joists" screwed in underneath. Not all that cheap though.
