Here's a helpful guide to consider:

Also, I have a custom made cover made of Top Gun material; it came with my Hydrasport. I think the previous owner paid like $700-800 for it, but it's the cat's meow...

Found this better where we are than tarps or covers.
It lets the boat breathe, keeps leaves out, provides 70% shade.
However it does let rain, pollen and dust thru.
Also if under pine trees, the needles will get hung in it.

Thanks guys,I am wondering is there any reason that a cover for an 1988 would not fit my boat.after all there seems to be just a difference really with the topside[small bit of extra height on the gunnell?strikes me it should go on no problem.I need to get something good as we have alot of rain in the winter,in fact strike that we seem to be up to our necks in it all year around?Regards Brian............:cen:

A semi custom fit cover is fine as long as you do not trailer the boat with the cover on. I bought a close out deal (great cover for a 24' crownline) from iboats last winter for $49. It fits fine, not like a glove of course, but it does the job.
