I am selling off some of my MERC stuff now. I'll probably be listing a trim and tilt unit soon as well.

Ferm, you got any 3.0 L stuff? A freind of mine is looking for a 250 to build for his superboat, the 2.5 on it isn't going to make it run any faster, so he wants to step up to a 3.0L, preferably a promax. I also have a guy heree locally that wants a 25" 3.0 lower unit if you have one

Just some 2.5L stuff, and not much of that either. I know these 20" lowers are hard to find in good shape, espescially freshwater used only ones.

Ferm - put it up on ebay. It'll sell in a week. Craigslist is a PIA. Haggling with people is very frustrating for me . . . You can ship these in a Bike Box from a bicycle shop. They fit perfectly and a few are double walled cardboard. Just make sure you design your packing to prevent movement . . . so the shaft doesn't fly out. Fedex ground will ship them anywhere in the country for roughly $1/lb. Also if you need packing material . . . go to a local newspaper and get a few "end rolls" . . . they may charge you $1 or $2 for them . . . but that's more packing material than you'll ever need.

I'm plannin on listing it SUNDAY. And thanks for the shipping box idea, the main reason I went with CRAIGSLIST is because of shipping. I didn't want to have to find a box to ship it in, now I know. I did see one of these freshwater lowers sell on EBAY last week for $800, and this one is as clean as you'll find. Lucky thing spent it's entire life on LAKE OKECHOBEE.
