Hey guys, I posted here a couple of years ago when I was trying to buy a V20 cuddy form a neighbor. Ultimately he decided not to sell, the poor boat is still sitting unused on its mooring. Well after a seven year wait on my towns mooring list I finally made it to the top, now all I needed was a boat. Well I found one.

Yeah, I have been digging through the forum for information ever since I saw the boat for sale. It's a 1990 hull with a 1995 johnson 200hp. I didn't dare post till I had a pic, I know how you guys are. Actually I had around a dozen pics but I managed to delete them somehow.

Hey Mako

Wow cant believe you don't have a V anymore. Anyway I love the Sea Ox ,in the 80's I used to fish commercial for stripers and giants out of Chatham and Ptown from a 23 center console they are great boats. There's guy up here selling a 20' on craig list that I was in love with but his price was just out of my range. Oh, Its not an Atlantic Towers top its from someone called Fishmaster.

Yes I got rid of mine last summer after 9 years!! But I needed something bigger, I not getting any younger and needed some extras!
I also moved from Yarmouth to Wareham last Nov. Cape just cost to much now! I bet I save at least 30% a month compared to Yarmouth!!

I still work Hyannis and Eastham, I amin Eastham right now at work, I do the graveyard.

This will be my first season with the Sea Ox and I will love it!! I had it out last year for some test runs after I bought it, I liked it so much I bought another motor, new trim tabs, salt water wash down, and the Hard top was just delivered, hope to have that on this week and be ready to splash in 2 weeks!!

I fish the Vinyard 90% of the time now but maybe I will see you this year out of Chatam at some point??

Looks really nice Surfdude... How much did you pay for her? Just curious. I would have been all over it if I had seen it first :-)

I hear you about the cost of living on the Cape. I moved back here after 15 years in Hawaii and am paying more for rent here for a small apartment than I was paying for a house on the north shore of Maui.

Actually you almost did ;)

I paid 8k for it. More than I would have but you pay a premium for center consoles in this area. The previous owner had done a great job on a complete engine rebuild, rewire, hydraullic steering, new T top, leaning post etc. All I need to do is paint the bottom splash it and go. This time of year there's unlimited overtime on my job so It was easier to pay a little more and make it up with OT than run around looking for a better deal. That and the fact that I want to be in the water by the 15th of this month.

I thought it looked familiar :-), but the angle of your pic shows her much more nicely than the pic he posted...

I'm glad she went to you; she'll have a good home.

Congratts, that is a nice looking boat.
Is that one of the fold down T-tops? if so is it sturdy?
Going to be nice for the next few days so you should have plenty of time to get the electronics installed

Yes it is one of the folding models, although I havn't tried folding it. Seems as sturdy as any of the other tops that I have seen.
